What hardware does the desk need?

A tablet or a PC. A USB barcode scanner makes check-in faster, and a network receipt printer can open the cash drawer. A second screen can face the customer.

Can several staff share one tablet?

Yes. A manager sets up the device once. Staff switch by tapping their name and entering a PIN.

What can only a manager do?

Voids, refunds, large discounts, long freezes and letting someone in against the rules all need a manager’s PIN on the spot.

Does it work in other languages?

Staff choose English, Bahasa Melayu, Tamil or Chinese. The customer screen and receipts also come in Bahasa Indonesia.
