No. You connect your own Stripe or Xendit account and payments go straight to it. Gymie charges a flat monthly price and takes no cut.
Which payment methods can members use?
Cards everywhere, PayNow in Singapore, DuitNow and FPX in Malaysia, and QRIS and virtual accounts in Indonesia. The desk also records cash and bank transfers.
Can I run the front desk on a tablet?
Yes. Gymie Desk is an app for tablets and the PC behind the counter. It works with a barcode scanner, a network receipt printer and a cash drawer, and a second screen can face the customer.
How do payment reminders reach members?
By email today, each with a link to pay. WhatsApp reminders come at launch.
Which languages does it speak?
Staff and members can use English, Bahasa Melayu, Tamil and Chinese. The member app also comes in Bahasa Indonesia.
